I can't lock my car from the key fob and when I try and lockmy car with the button on the drivers door inside the passenger lock goes down and pops back up? Any advice would be greatly appreciated xxxCentral locking help please :(

Hey all, I've just got a 02 polo i have no idea about cars but I hope some1 can make sense of my problem I can't lock my car from the key fob and when I try and lockmy car with the button on the drivers door inside the passenger lock goes down and pops back up?
