Electric Windows

Post by des_pd_ tdi »

Having washed my car I put the windows down so I could listen to some tunes whilst polishing the car. What I didn't expect was for the left window button to operate the right window and vice versa, has this happened to anyone else. After a day it righted itself obviously after something had dried out.

that is odd, imm not sure how the mk6 windows are wired to the switch but usually if the switch got wet enough to do that then you would blow fuses left, right and centre. if i were you id check that you havnt got a leak on the outher window seal of either door and also id just see if all the gromets are still in the bulk head
funny story though i dont think itll ever happen to me thopugh cos i paint my car more often than i wash it lol
