hi all

anyone familiar with the rear speaker wires on a 66 plate polo match tsi

there's 4 four different coloured twisted wires which ones are positive and which are ground

on the passenger side
red + purple wire
brown = purple wire

drivers side
blue + white wire
black + white wire

would be grateful for any help

My personal experience the wire with a solid line on it is positive but if your not sure look for the earth it maybe by the wheel arch

thanks for the reply but both wires have solid lines and all the wiring diagrams on the internet dont match
so i think vw must have changed the colours

VW tends to use a common colour for ground. In this case i would say its purple for passenger and white for driver
