VW Polo 1998 1.4 petrol, tries to start then cuts out after a few seconds, appears to have no engine light, it loses fuel pump electric feed and sparks together at the same time, have checked all the obvious fuses etc, it occurred after being left for a while battery went very flat can’t get obd to read, any help would be appreciated

Sounds like an immobiliser issue. That’ll cause it to start then stop

Check all the fuses including the battery ones
