My Alpine White 89 Saloon.

Post by DONK »

Yo dude's, found this little beauty.

89 Polo Saloon C 51k 2 owners. I bought it how i like to buy old Vdubs unwashed and unpolished in years (covered in moss).

I spent over a week removing any bolt of parts bumpers, grille, arches, sill trims, door mouldings and T cutting and polishing it to death.

I have also fitted 4 new Boge shockers and 40mm lowered springs with new top mounts, front wheel bearings and new original size front brakes (scary)

I also fitted clear front and side repeaters a red trimmed front grille and GERMAN style number plates have been ordered.

The interior is standard and in mint condition apart from the red trimmed dash panel surround (GENUINE VAG ITEM) :D

Next step is some tasty wheels (when funds allow). :D

I also own an 85 Polo GL Saloon which will be up for sale in the new year to help the further funding of this one.

That is a testament to elbow grease, it really is, and you hail from my home town. I'm quite impressed, getting a white car to look that good is no easy task!

Sweet!
Let me know when you're selling, I'm picking up a loon at the weekend to go with my current one.
What other plans you got for it?
