Lowering mk2 Breadvan help needed

Post by reecetoft »

I'm looking at replacing my front springs on my mk2 Breadvan ive got the springs on my mk2f which is no longer in use but I'm just wondering do I need to compress the springs to get them out or just unbolt and swap over? Also are shortened shocks actually worth it because I'm putting 60mm springs in? Thanks for any replies :)

Yes you'll need to compress them to remove them from the shocks and yes for 60mm you should fit short end shocks

What about if I just swap whole unit out? Will I need to compress then or just swap over? Thanks for reply

If you swap them out with the top mount attached then no straight swap as it'll stay secured
