I had a guy come for both of these, even though the dealer couldn't do it

Hi there - we have a Fabia 2013 SE-plus and want to do the same thing (change from black+green LCD to full MaxiDot display). Can you let me know who you got to do this for you so that we could contact them please? :?:

Cheers, Chris. D.

we have 2012 Fabia 1.2 Tsi SE+ with the same green/black basic LCD cluster and would like also to upgrade to the full MaxiDot cluster. Could you let us know the contact details where you got this retrofit done please? Cheers, Chris

Hello from Greece

I have also a Fabia 5J (2010 facelift) with the black-green screen (the same as the picture above) and I want to change to Maxidot IC. I bought a used 5J0920841E SW 0305 HW H04 cluster but I haven't found someone yet to have the equipment to fit it.

I tried on Skoda dealer but they couldn't program the IMMO and they also said that the IC couldn't recognise the can computer - the button on the stalk didn't change the menu on the screen.

I am looking for some recommendation on what HW and SW a DIYer can get to perform this process.
I have read viewtopic.php?f=56&t=70545&sid=0df0d6de ... 0eda781e95 but I can't buy a supervag.

So I am wonder if there is an alternative solution for SW and HW that can be done as a single time deal.

Bests,
Theo
