Thanks! I love black cars, apart from when it comes to keeping them clean!

Re: Clap's vRS: Spacers

Post by JackClap »

Fitted some spacers to it today, 15mm on each side on the front, and 20mm on each side on the rear. Sits much better now and also allows me to fit brembos on the front.

Also gave it a quick clean and a wax.

Re: Clap's vRS: Audio

Post by JackClap »

Picked the car up today from having the audio upgraded. The difference in sound quality is incredible, cant believe I waited so long to do it.
A list of the parts fitted.
Pioneer AVH-2400BT
Hertz HDP 4 Amp
Massive Slim Series SK6 - 6.5"
Hertz Energy ES 250 Sub
Both front components amped. And front doors sound proofed.

Then in January the car is going back to have a proper boot build install, and then hopefully to be featured in a car audio magazine.

Also put some sound proofing on the back of the door card to stop any vibrations.

Cheers guys!

Well got home yesterday to find a rather nice delivery...

Brembos! My front discs and pads both needed replacing so made sense to upgrade now.
Freshly refurbished calipers, they look like new though.
Going to be fitted with mintex pads and 312mm ebc discs, and also fitting custom made brake lines.
