Suprised to find this is the only picture I have of them fitted.

Cars also in the workshop today have all the bushes replaced with superpro ones,

Then tomorrow I'm off to have the car remapped by Shark Performance, Cant wait for this! :D

Very Nice Jack 8) Brembo's look boss!

Let us know how you get on with the Re-map
Stage 1 it should pull anything between 260-275bhp and 280-300lbs ft of torque

I would ask Shark to ensure it stays below 300 lbs ft because that's the limit of the OEM Clutch & Flywheel

I actually went to one of the Shark dealers, cn tuning, great guy and definitely knew his stuff. He didnt have a dyno but I'm booked onto a dyno day on March 2nd so will see what it actually makes then.

I had a bit of a drive afterwards and its incredible, it totally transforms the car. It just pulls the whole way across the rev range, and when I accelerate the power is instant.

Although my fun was cut short, the added boost from the map caused two of the boost pipes to come loose. From where the pipes where old the clips on them have rounded off so there wasn't much to hold them in. Hopefully will try and fix it tomorrow so I can have more of a play with the new map :D

Nice one Jack 8) might & day difference between a standard & mapped vRS, PD130 engine responds really well to a stage 1

Shame about the boost pipe issues but i'm sure you can get that resolved fairly easily.
While your fiddling with the boost pipes it might be worth fitting a cheeky boost gauge  they look great

Went on a rolling road day last weekend, I'm very pleased with the figures and curve!

No other mods planned for a while, Looking to upgraded clutch and flywheel and fit an FMIC come summer time.

Nice results Jack 8) torque climbs steadily all the way to 300 lbs ft

FMIC will help the power maintain a smoother curve but overall you should be pleased with the results :)

260-275 for a stage 1?! I'd be lucky!!!! I know what you meant..

Looks healthy mate! I'd be happy with those results.

What brembos are they if you don't mind me asking?

I'm trying to find a set that will fit under my 16" wheels and they look like they have plenty of clearance under those 17"s.

The brembo calipers are from an Alfa Romeo Brera 2.2 2006 onwards. They use a 305mm disc on the Brera but work fine on a 312mm disc. They then have a custom bracket so they can be used on the Fabia.
They should theoretically fit under a 16" wheel but I'm not 100% sure as I haven't tried.

A few new things to update.

Fitted new front tyres, Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2. They have been getting rave reviews so gave them a try, they definitely live up to the reviews.
Although they are rather soft so I doubt they will have a very long life.

Also had the air con regassed. Such a nice luxury to have in this heat.

A mod I have been planning to do for a while, FMIC. After a lot of thought I eventually decided going for the THS Seatsport style and the darkside hardpipe kit.
I have to say I did under estimate how much cutting was needed to get it to fit. I found it a complete pig to fit.
Eventually after many hours of frustration I got it all fitted.

I have only been for a quick sprited drive, It definitely helps when really giving it a push, Just keeps pulling and pulling.
I do seem to have a small leak somewhere, but I'll look for that another day.
