Sorry, I was tired when I posted that it was BAD....
Now for a more constructive explaination:
I've been running round with coilovers set to stun for a few months now, so any normal car is going to feel wobbly in comparison... for a year or so before that my GTi was running on H&R springs so I think to be honest, I've forgotten what the stock GTi felt like in comparison.
So, handling was BAD compared to my GTi with H&R Coilovers.
Probably not that bad for a standard car though... (I'm sure I didn't think it was bad when I test drove one for 2 hours (no salesman!) when they first came out... Maybe it is just the fact I've had coilovers on mine that have been shaking my teeth out!

Tell me about it. I'm looking at fitting the Octavia vRS calipers front and rear, but the £117 for each front is putting me off at the moment.des_pd_ tdi wrote:I think the handling's OK, better than my Polo Sport.
However the brakes are shocking, alot lot worse than my Polo. Defo upgrade for me on the cards, this would be the first upgrade anyone should plan if they own the vrs.

Just re-read this thread...
The modifications went this way:
Day 2 (47 miles on the clock!): REVO & Green Cotton Air Filter
Then after that, it went:
Stereo Install
De-Badged Rear (apart from the vRS badge, which I relocated)
Shortened OE Antenna
Origin b2
Stainless Doorhandle Covers
Ibiza Strut Brace
Ibiza PD160 Air Intake
Big Brakes (TT 312's)
Tints
Colour-Coded front Skoda Badge
Next on the list is:
An Intercooler Water/Methanol Spray (ordered)
DIY "TT Style" Arch-Liner Vent
Eibach Springs
New Front Speakers

Not sure about the strut brace mate... It fits mine perfectly, but I've not heard of it fitting a Polo before... Try it! It's only £45, you can sell it on eBay/Briskoda if it doesn't fit! The chassis is the same, so I wouldn't have thought it would be too different.
Also, I used the whole lot from the TT.... Caliper, Carrier, Disc and Pad.
You can only do this if you've got 288mm brakes already though.
If you've got calipers that say ??III then you've had it, as you need new hubs as well.
