It seems that the J745 unit uses a protocol that the new internal Gateway of the new BCM 7E0 does not understand.
In the original diagrams of the J745 unit the CAN lines go to an external Gateway that manages it (which is used for the old BCMs).
I fear that it is not possible to have two Gateways for data management between units.
---
Idea ⚠.. not based on any kind of technical knowledge, but it has worked with other units in other cars ..⚠
As a test, not as a final installation, do the following:
The new CAN lines must also remain installed for the IC.
Most likely, it will not work, and therefore you cannot install the J745.
---
Tip: For the tests it is always better to use original connectors to avoid cuts in the wires when testing, and for wires isolation too.
Hello Fernando ,
the can lines are connected like in the previous photo
I am telling you this , because I tried and made tests (previous days) with new can lines (ic) and nothing change

Reconnect them as at the beginning, to the old CAN lines for the IC, is the correct way.

tell me about the results , are correct ?
They're correct.
It is very strange that this J745 unit cannot be read through powertrain CAN lines.
Ideally, it would be to test with another J745 unit that you have the certainty that works on another SK Fabia II.

I think that you have right from the beginning , about J745 compatibility with max bcm
It is only a data-based assumption (ETKA, Elsa).
I still think that the J745 unit should be readable once connected, but your autoscan says it cannot be reached.

believe me Sk Fabia with this kind of lights it is something very rare in Greece
It is also difficult to find information online of some SK Fabia II with BCM Max 7H0937090D ... however it was a BCM installed in the Fabia II according to the ETKA.

You have absolutely right. Roomster headlights are the same like those I have in fabia from facrory.
Tell me please 7H0937090D is the correct bcm for my fabia?
J745 will work with this bcm?
According to ETKA it would be possible... btw.... have you learned to use it?
According to Elsawin, I don't know because I only have the wiring diagrams for Fabia II until 2013. I don't have them until 2015, which is when the Fabia II production for Europe was finished and that is when the 7H0937090D model was being installed.
The wiring diagrams for Sk Fabia II 2015 are necessary to know how to install this BCM.
By the way, whoever publishes an Autoscan VCDS from a Skoda Fabia II with 7H0937090D in address 09 and with address 55 may ask me for a gift from the many I can do.
I have searched tirelessly since the origin of this thread, but impossible for me to find it.
