I've bought an aftermarket radio for my 2008 Polo and I just can't get any power to the unit. I've bought the quad iso adapter which connects to the cars audio harness, this connects to the wiring loom that come with the stereo.
It does say in the instruction manual to swap the red and yellow cables for work VWs, which I have done. Still no power. Any advice appreciated. Thank you.
Aftermarket radio installation.

Re: Aftermarket radio installation.
These polos need a ignition feed tagged onto the red wire. The quad lock has canbus which is how the existing radio turns on and off
You’ll see there’s a thick wire on the car side which will go to the yellow wire on your radio adapter. The red wire needs to be connected to an ignition live
