Black Polo GTI 6 Speed. 390 BHP Build
Re: Black Polo GTI 6 Speed. 320BHP. Update page 54
Thanks god it's Friday. All I have wanted to do all week is get in the garage and carry on getting the car back together.
Decided to paint the boost pipes and turbo intake pipe black. Probably not the best colour due to heat but this is no race car.
Going to collect them tonight.
More pics to follow after this weekends work but here are some to start the weekend off.

What size tyres are you running on the rs's? Fitment looks perfect

Seem to be working at a snails pace but I'm almost there
Couple more water hoses to connect and i can get the front end back on
Had to modify the metal water pipe that run round the block as it was failing on my turbo intake pipe.
Stock one on the right and modified one on the left
I'm new to welding so don't laugh
After a lick of paint
Also added a take off to the bottom of the turbo intake for the evap system
Secured the fuel filter
Couple images of the bay
These were from last night but crap quality but its getting there
Thanks for looking

I haven't run 195's on a 7.5" wheel with this power so couldn't comment.bikerboywill wrote:how do you find 195's with so much power?9N3 Turbo wrote:195-40-17bikerboywill wrote:What size tyres are you running on the rs's? Fitment looks perfect

I ran 195's on 7" wheel and found it was fine and 195's on a 7.5" when I was stage 2 and was ok too.
Don't get me wrong the more tyre the better but this all works for me and what I want to achieve.

Almost there
Ran into a problem though. The inline filler I got is the wrong size so sending it off to my fabricator whilst I'm on holiday he'll modify it to the correct size inlet and outlet and some small other changes.
Also my callipers were sent off for painting a fees weeks ago and as per usual there were delays so second year in a row ill be working to the bone trying to get ready for MIVW

The reaction on some peoples faces when they get blown away by a 320bhp polo must be priceless...

Re: Black Polo GTI 6 Speed. 320BHP. Update page 55
Through out this whole thread ive been trying to tihnk where is place in the pictures, looks familiar! im from southend too, i noticed you said at the start of your thread you was here visiting and then later on i tihnk you said you had moved? maybe i got that wrong! read all 55!! pages of this thread, amazing work done, patience and patience with members questions!
Ive heard rumours of this polo around southend with in the "scene", would be great to get in contact with you closer to the time of me possibly purchasing a polo to get your thoughts on what is best, and what not to touch (Forge FMIC for example)! do you ever drive this around or is it just a weekend car as ive never seen this about and im out and about fairly often in either my car or other peoples cars!
would be great to hear back from you buddy!

Re: Black Polo GTI 6 Speed. 320BHP. Question page 41. Help
Where did u get the washer cap from and is it a genuine black cap or just a painted blue one?9N3 Turbo wrote:Got these today. Only a small change but I'm fed up of seeing the dirty marks on the blue ones that come with the car.
Only £8.50 each too
