Open the riverside door then look at the visible edge of the dashboard that would normally be cover with the door.

You should be able to see a cover that can be removed. Just lever it open with a screw driver. It's pretty tight if I remember.

This info Is also available in your vw manual with diagrams.

Trying to get through to the back of it requires taking out the wipers, the sill on which the wiper is mounted, etc. Both as hard as each other!

Anyone know which fuse is for the tail light? Looked at the manual and it lists all except the tail light. Maybe it shares a fuse?

Rear right tail light doesn't work however the left one does. bulb is not blown either. Brake lights work though.

Also, is the tail light bulb is gone, what's the bulb replacement? Anyone running a LED replacement?

You've probably sorted it by now, but you can get to the back of the fusebox by dropping the CCM and relay plate out of the way under the dash, and pushing the fuse box (after unbolting it) out through the gap. You need to bend the plastic frame that the CCM clips to but it shouldn't break if you're careful. Then you can remove the rear cover of the fuse box to access the wiring.

Is it both of the tail light bulbs on the right hand side? There are two bulbs - the top is a twin filament one that does tail/brake, and the bottom is tail only.

Nope, the rear right Parker light is out. Brake lights still work. But also the front right Parker light is out.

So I'm assuming there is a fuse that controls both the rear and front Parker lights.

Always check bulbs first, the double filaments can pop one only

Can someone just confirm whether the front right parker light and rear right parker light work with one fuse?

The reason I keep asking is because the bulbs aren't blown on either. Funny thing is, front left side parker and rear left side parker works.

So that's why I think the fuse has gone and that they may work in conjuction.

e.g Left front and rear parkers = 1 fuse. Right front and rear parkers = 1 fuse.

Anyway, the car is going in for servicing this Friday but I just wanted to hear it from you guys first.. I . ..just... need... validation.. closure... lol

Thanks for that.

Hmm, still not sure which one would be the tail parker light.

I'm thinking it's either (based on the pic): 6, 12, 13, 21, 22, 43 or 54.

Any ideas?
