Ross Tech VCDS Options

Post by ieuan-j »

Hi guys, just been playing about VCDS, changing my alarm settings, and enabling anti hijack, the basic stuff really. Does anybody know what options you can change/add... i.e. things like, on the newer Octavia's you can make the fog lights illuminate when cornering etc...

i found you couldnt do alot with the polo on VCDS all i done that was worth doing was enabling anti hijack and beep indication when locking and unlocking. could do alot more to my mates mk5 gti as they have better controllers, ive heard you can fit the newer controllers though

Go into adaptations on controller 46.

Drop down menu on there gives locking options.

Haha, just the beep when you lock and unlock, it got really annoying after a while so I turned it off, and ive turned the anti hi jack feature on as well, there's not a lot you can do really which is a shame :/ I'm going to be buying the cruise control parts soon so I'll turn that on too :) you can download VCDS direct from RossTechs website for free, you just need the rosstech lead to validate it, some of the eBay jobbies do work, but it's hit and miss with those...
