Which parts for GTi

Post by Hebridean »

Hey all I'm getting myself a polo GTi 1.8 this weekend after my last 1.0 6n2 had a good 7 year run (still going strong I can't seem to break it) :)

So as far as I'm aware the car is standard but I only plan on going stage 1 with it... So...,
Is there any point forking out £££ for a turbo back? Does a cat back give any gains? Or could I just stick something else on to give her a nicer deep noise when I stick the foot down if nothing is to be gained?

Remap wise , I live in the Outer Hebrides so I'm not exactly spoilt for choice here, their are a few places in the highlands that do them but a fella Duncan Sutherlands in Inverness does Revo - has anyone been to him before?
Or what are peoples thoughts on the Revo software?

Forge DV and induction will be sorted first!

Any advice is welcome!
