Hi scoody,
Im in the same boat as you, 1.4tdi bms engine with a snapped oil drive chain, engines not siezed but is a bit tight. Id like to fit a new engine but dont have 1200 quid for a bms unit.
If i get an amf engine, and a timing tool and new seal, are you saying, you can get access to fit the sensor buy drilling out the gap in the web in the block?
Id swap the turbo and ancilliaries of course.
