Hi guys,
I've had to take off the cylinder head to replace burnt out exhaust valves on a 1.2 6v (engine code BMD). Got everything off ok and thought I'd done a great job until I found a part on the garage floor. Didn't hear it drop or have any idea where it could be from. Looks like some kind of spacer it's about the diameter of a £1 coin on the outside x 10-12mm long with, I think, an M6 hole in the centre. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Sam

Help identifying part - found on garage floor!
Re: Help identifying part - found on garage floor!
Sorry, can't seem to post an actual picture, but it looks really similar to the larger of the two in this advert. Not trying to sell anything, it's just the closest I could find to what it looked like!

Ah, I don't think that we can see these pictures, I'm not sure how you post pictures on this forum, you might need a picture holding account and make a pointer to it, or maybe you have not got enough posts to post pictures, someone will chip in with the answer.
Edit:- you make it sound like a spacer or roller etc?

Engine BMD, 6v, I think you might have a 9N polo, in which case posting in the 9N section could provide an answer.
