Front electric Windows not working

Front electric Windows not working
Hi hoping someone can help me. Both front electric Windows don't work. I have tried removing door cards and then passenger side started working. Nothing from drivers side. Put door card back on and again nothing. Took cards of again and nothing. Checked all cables and they look fine. Tried resetting battery. Both Windows then worked. Fitted door cards again and now nothing. All fuses are fine so are the relays. Back Windows are manual

This sort of problem turns up now and again on these VAG forums, some issues can be caused by the wiring where it passes through to the driver's side door, fold back the protector and see if there are any damaged/chopped wires. Next is the main PCB on the driver's door window controller, sometimes the solder cracks on that - so it needs reflowing. Maybe extend your search for help outwards to other VAG specific car forums?
