Hello everyone, I’ve been searching the forums and web for a quite a while now for information on how to replace the standard RCD200 radio with a aftermarket stereo. I already have the removal keys necessary to get the old radio out.
After some research it seems I require the following parts:
Aerial Adaptor - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B004TW7U0I/ ... 8zbZ1J86MM
Fascia Plate - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B004TW7NCI/ ... 8zbA82JTHX
Harness Adaptor - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0043GWB6I/ ... 8zb9NWQ43R
And lastly the new stereo I will be putting in - http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... reId=10001
However I was just wondering if someone could confirm this would work and if I would need anything else.
Thanks for your time.

That’s the wrong adapter. The RCD200 is a quad lock radio so you’ll need a quad lock to iso converter for a start
If you do intact have a 9N3 you also don’t need a fascia plate as the radio cutout is double din already without any extra bita
You’ll need to take an ignition feed and illumination feed from somewhere. Normally the cigarette lighter is a good place or the rear window switch
