Hi everyone
I own an 05 1.4 TDI which I purchased recently. I'm aware they're really noisy til they warm up I'm just considering soundproofing it?
Has anyone else done this?

Re: Soundproofing
The 1.4 TDIs are noisy. Mine was much the same
The polo is already fairly well soundproofed. The diesel has a thicker firewall insulation layer, and a bonnet noise absorber and undertray already
Short of taking all the interior out and sticking dynamat all over the floor which wont make a huge difference to engine noise, you might have to just get used to it.

Re: Soundproofing
Re under BONNET sound proofing. I've got a roll of thick felt designed for under bonnet use, which i'll cut to shape. Was wondering if anyone can recommend a brush-on long-life heat-proof adhesive that will allow removal or re-positioning of the felt (if necessary) before setting.
