Hi,
I have had to replace a driver side headlight owing to broken brackets. I have been basking in the sun removing the from bumper to fit my newly ordered light from a breakers only to find a loud clicking on activation.
From what I have read is that this is a broken leveller motor in the unit. Short of retuning this ones thinking maybe I can swap out the motor from my old unit.
Does anyone know if this is possible?

Moreover, is it an MOT fail if the cockpit headlight adjuster does not work?

Yes it should be swappable - just be careful as its fiddly
And no, its not an MOT failure. They generally dont test it.
