Wipers do not go off

Good day can you please help me. I changed the wiper stalk cause they did not go off but the problem is still there,what should I do??

Well you could have a look inside the wiper motor assembly as it will have a permanent 12V feed and a switched 12V feed, maybe the parking switch has failed, but I've never ever looked inside one of them.

Ultimately it will be the BCM or CCM or whatever VW called this controller in this car, the stalk will only send a signal voltage to the BCM/CCM etc when you want the wipers to operate, it is an output from that controller that switches the wipers on, and when that output is removed the wipers continue running until the parking switch allows/stops them operating until the demand to operate is again switched on.

Have you tried unplugging this stalk to see if they still operate continuously?

Take a look in the 9N Polo section of this forum as a member had problems with his wipers not switching on when they should.
