Metal Wire Under Rear Passenger Seat - SOLVED

Post by Lester »

Hi All,

I noticed two metal wires under the rear seat (passenger side). This is the single seat in the back that you can fold. Please see the picture below.

They run from the back to the front and you can already see them protruding on the front side. If I don't do anything, I think those wires will tear through the seat cover over time. The other seats are fine. It seems like they have torn through the foam/cushion.
Is this something that I can fix or I need to buy a new seat? Need some advice. Thank you.

This has been fixed.
It was just the padding wire that came unhooked from the padding. :D

Thanks, RUM4MO. I just realized that I should have placed the padding wire not from the top but under the other wire making it deeper in the groove.
Well, I can just do it next time I remove the seat cover. :)
