hello everyone,
sorry for a first post looking for help, I'm more used to fixing Alfa Romeos so having to fix VW's is all new to to me. My wife's polo 1.2 heater motor is not working, on any speed setting. I have power at the switch and coming out going to the resistor pack which tests ok, but do not have any power going into into the fan motor, hence it will not run. is there a wiring diagram anywhere for the motor circuit to see what should have power and what shouldn't. this problem happened the same time as the 12v power socket blew a fuse, I've changed the fuse for this and checked the other fuses and they are all good.
any help or suggestions are much appreciated on how to fix this will be much appreciated.

Well, this happened to me a couple of days ago.. tried everything and nothing worked, finally took the gloves box out and disconnected the harness that goes to the blower to check if it has power and it did, turned out to be the motor itself was faulty, took it out, and while looking at it i noticed one of two little springs was broken, replaced the spring, and it worked like a charm.
