Lovely looking pictures dude,im really wanting to shoot some HDR shots but am abit lost with the amount of functions my camera has.Im guessing i would need to set it up on (M) Manual and then take three photo's will different settings?.Typically what three setups have you used in the one you have taken?.

Any help would be much apprechiated

What camera do you have dude?

Best way:

Set your camera up on a tripod, if you have a remote for the shutter use that also to reduce camera wobble.

Set up a shot with correct aperture shutter and ISO to expose correctly.

Take the pic.

Then alter the shutter speed so it's a stop of two under exposed (I normally bracket for 2 stops down and up).

Take the pic.

Then alter the shutter speed again so this time it's one or two stops over exposed.

Take the pic.

You then have 3 pictures of the same image, exposed under, even, and over.

Then using software like PhotoMatix, so can link them all together to create HDR images.

Some camera's have bracketing built in, so you can setup your camera to automatically take 3 differently exposed images, all you have to do is click the shutter a few times.

It's a Canon EOS 20D a few years old but does the job and seems to have all the functions a new cheap model would have.It's just the settings etc on manula mode,i need to spend some time playing with it seeing the differences in things etc but never seem to get around to it.

Sweet, it should have shutter increments, I'll check up for you and let you know.

If you need some tips for getting you started I could give you a run down?
