Is the 17-70mm one good? I've been looking at the one for my Nikon D80 as I'm after a faster lens for it.

its pretty good, can go pretty wide but also has a decent zoom on it too, and the aprature range is good (3.5 and 4.5 @ 70mm) if you do get one make sure its the DX version, theyre a standard lens with d70's so there should be loads knocking about on fleabay
