Cheers guys.

I must admit i prefer the coloured badge version. I used the same kind of theme last year in the Briskoda Calendar competition using black & white images with the vRS badge in colour and i won a place in the calendar. :D

Was sat in the car for 15 mins waiting for a break in the rain for this shot!!!! Ended up running out and taking 7 or 8 shots while it was still spitting with rain then running back in the car. This was the 3rd lay-by i had tried and couldn't get a good shot in the others due to signs & objects in the background etc...

The mrs wasn't well impressed........

Nice shot! Theres a lot of noise in the image - did you photoshop it quite a bit?

Yeah i darkened the sky down, then darkened the rest of the landscape a little too but only a little. Then darkened the sky in the windows so it matched the rest of the sky. Stripped the colour info, and added noise to give it the grainy effect i wanted then cropped to use as a 1440x900 wallpaper. Also did the same for the colour badge version but just kept the vRS badge in colour.

The original was taken on a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX100 12mp compact.

This is the original image.......

Thats cool, I wasn't sure if you'd put it there on purpose or if it was just an artefact from too much tweaking.
