Daft question i know, but where about is the fuse box on my 1991 Polo? cant seem to find it anywhere! :?

its under the bonnet in the opposite corner to the battery

by the way, which fuse is it u change in order to get a cd player working? and where would i pick up the metal fuses for it and what sort of price am i looking at?
