Clutch pedal Problems !!

Post by PoLoCrAzZy0708 »

Right ...

I'm having problemes with my clutch pedal. Basically I drive for about 15-20mins and then the clutch pedal becomes really stickey when releasing and pushing down the pedal and makes a noise when doin that ! The sound seems to be coming from where all the pedal are located !

Now i've Taken my car down to the garage and explained to them what was wrong they told me I needed a new clutch cable ! But later that day they called me up and told me the clutch cable just needed adjusting ! I thought great ! saves me spending £75 on a new clutch cable. but it did cost them 1hr labour to do the job which cost me in the end £35 :? !!! ... but that didnt cure the problem !!! .. the only thing that improved was the biting point was slightly better then before ... what a waste of money !!

Does any1 know what it could be or had similar problems ?

Sounds like your clutch is out,
may also be a broken sleeve tube of the release bearing
or cracked pedal box.

nah that sounds like a fookered release bearing to me, OR it could be you need gearbox oil as the release bearing is only doin it when its warm
