Heeeeere's Poppy... or Popeye... whichever
(Poppy for now - Popeye if i get nitrous fitted (painting the cylinder so it looks like a can of spinach), or if i find that Optimax/Ultimate gives a power boost with the chip... ie, liquid spinach )
mmmm nice shiny wheels... sadly it took a lot of hosing, scrubbing and sponging (and squeaking the sponge into the crease with my little fingers) to get them even into this state, with lots of brake dust still around the valves, etc. time to get the jet washer out! ... and do a refurb on that mangled rim!
note the balancing weight that's come loose and has slipped already, can be pushed around with same little finger. looks like i need to pump that tyre up 'n' all... anyway lets have some silliness to finish

Car number one: Royal Blue G reg Mk2 Ranger
Only pic Ive got of my first mk2 ranger. Didnt have a digital camera back then.
Car number two: Diamond Siver Metallic J reg MK3 CL Hatch
This is where my "nickname" on porka comes from for those of you who didnt know. Its a ranger spec mk3 (badged as a Polo_CL)
Car number three: Medium Blue metallic H reg MK3 GT Hatch
1.4 Conversion, now in car number six:
And heres why its being scrapped!
Car number four: Indigo Blue Pearl W reg MK5 S TDI Estate (the odd one out )
Bought this one in haste after car number 3 got crashed into. P/x'ed car number two for it (hadnt got round to selling it yet {|}) and to cut a long story short I decided to sell it after I got bored with it.
Car number five: Black H reg MK3 GT Hatch
Originally planned as the new home for car number 3's best bits, I decided I missed car number 3's sunroof too much and sold it to someone less fussy (After replacing its engine I might add)
Car number six: Royal blue metallic J reg MK3 GT Hatch.
Were nearly there now! This is my current "project car" I havent got any better pics than the one below really will post more when I get some.
Car number seven: White C reg Mk2 Ranger.
As you can see Ive come full circle. This is my runabout for the next few months while I do some work to the other one. Again will get better pics when I have some. (Saved them for the mk2 section tho)
Could be my longest post ever that!
