POLO 1.6 TDI TO GTI/R/WRC

Post by Rookie01 » Thu Oct 12, 2017 8:47 pm

Hi guys, so im really really stuck in a situation here, basically i need your guys help because your are all experienced here!

Sooo basically body mods for the 1.6 TDI Polo 2010-2017 (Project car)

I want the front WRC bumper that is no problem as long as i can find some carbon canards for that bumper :D

The problem is with the rear bumper, basically you have the R32 type exhausts which i want fitted onto the GTI bumper aswel as having a diffuser on it, if that makes any sense.

http://www.maxtondesign.co.uk/product/p ... elift.html <--- This is what the diffuser looks like however i want the R32 Exhausts in the middle working within the diffuser is and that exact same rear bumper are there any adjustments I can make in order to have the best of both worlds.

This is all so confusing for me and i would love it if some can come up with a solution to fit both, i know there are other rear valances which can fit the exhausts however you can not really fit the Diffuser on these R32 type valances.

Thank you for your patience I hope I have not confused you guys :P

As you know there was never a Polo 6R/C with an R32 style exhaust, so you'll have to go aftermarket. Here are some options. Can't say I know much about them, but I think for your application they should work. Those diffusers will fit on any GTI or WRC bumper. Remember if you buy a 6C rear bumper and you have a 6R or vice versa you'll need new brackets, I can get you the part numbers if you need. That diffuser would only ever fit the standard rear valance, which is obviously not going to be able to accommodate an R32 style exhaust. This one looks almost like a combination of the two? Also only works with non-gti bumpers so you could use your existing bumper I believe.
