your idea of a nice saturday night:
my idea of a nice saturday night:
did some work on the front bumper mount for ACC radar too:
Adam, I'm not going to make a lot of progress in the next weeks, busy with work.
Are you interested in a 7E0 907 379 P ABS unit from T6? I got a cheap one but I don't have the time now to build it into the polo.
On the bench it's fun, but for CC testing I'll need it in the car....

[emoji23] You can't beat a Saturday with a bench setup, what did you find with it in the bench? Would it work or would faults prevent from complete testing?
Thank you for the offer iichel but I just bought the same ABS unit, I got a brand new one very cheap.

what I found on the bench:
- can't code it on the bench
- ross-tech labels are not very complete for this unit, only a dozen adaptation channels

Re: Retrofitting of Cruise Control by MFS on Polo 6R, T5, T6
I have discovered that the Audi A1 8X uses an interesting ABS pump:
SW 6C0907379A/D/J/L/P/S
HW 6R0907379BA
This is a 6C0 part but works on the PQ35 platform. I will have a try to make it work
Unfortunately the 7E0 pump is still not coded. It's on the to-do list, but the Audi A1 pump is more plug and play.

Interesting [emoji848]
I have just acquire a full T6 loom so I will hopefully get time to salvage the ABS wiring and get mine fitted

Is ACC button code same as code for CCS on?
This would mean that buttons re required only if you want to change distanse.
Just fitted CCS to my Rapid (1.4 DSG with BCMx87).
From screenshots byte 5 has
20 CCS
40 ACC (manual)
60 ACC (auto) = 20 + 40 (both)
On Audi forum was written that ACC worked for some time even with ABS unit not supporting feature and was after error deactivated (no respnce for breaking from abs) Maybe all support it in that case but just have to be enabled?
Whats the meaning on rest of bits in byte with HHC, maybe ACC? If pomp is capable of breaking up the hill it should be able to break during drivng or for emegrency driving..
Site notes:
- New Rapid has radar for emergency breaking but w/o acc.
- Still only CCS with speed limiting is avaiable
- There is radar for 160km/h and over
- It probably varies depending on radar range.
GRA_High, from logic point of view looks to me that now radar will keep set speed and send it to dash, hence if ecu will sent the same data there would be conflict (just theory) this would also mean that not seeing speed means ecu supports radar.

Yes, the question now is, will the 6R0... BA ESP9.0i with 6C0 software work on Polo 6R. I have 6R0 HW+SW ESP9.0i too as backup.
