Of course it is possible to reflash control unit to the other firmware . But it could be the another issue. With another firmware it couldn't accept your current coding. Each firmware designed for defined model. I haven't met the multi-model firmware which works.
For example for Polo I met:
SW: 6R0 907 379 AS, HW: 6R0 907 379 AS
SW: 6R0 907 379 BN, HW: 6R0 907 379 AS
SW: 6R0 907 379 CB, HW: 6R0 907 379 AS
For Skoda Fabia
SW: 6R0 907 379 AF, HW: 6R0 907 379 AS
Of course the small possibility of the success in coding for your car is present for example with this one
SW: 6R0 907 379 AS, HW: 6R0 907 379 AS
But you should your current firmware, and 6R0 907 379 AS, flash files and the tool which is able to flash.
BTW of I am not mistaken 7H0937090D BCM has the 65 Tire pressure control unit in the gateway's Installation list. Just hint

Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
Of course! For the moment, I was just willing to use the "hidden" habilites already provided by my modules "as-is". Unfortunately for me, here in my country it is very difficult to get OEM things, without digging much in how much can cost me. It would be better to add "65 Tire pressure" module than sticking with the "indirect" option, but you know ... I would also be very interested in testing firmwares. Prior to testing dumping current one ... But, I'm guessing that this will require a professional tool, right? Like which one ???firegrafik wrote: ↑Mon Mar 26, 2018 3:38 pm Of course it is possible to reflash control unit to the other firmware . But it could be the another issue. A brief parentheses in this interesting conversation, firegrafik-EdgardoRodriguez.
With great kindness I want to remind everyone that this is the topic dedicated to my 6R, that is the reason why I always ask all of you to have your own topic dedicated to your car. In this way the information of your car will not be buried - hidden - in the topic dedicated to my 6R, and anyone can help you 'easily'.
Thanks friends.

New discovery (again)
PQ25 BCM. A 'Bit' unknown to most mortals.
Byte14 Bit5 -->1 ... slow and fixed windshield wiper interval.
Byte14 Bit5 -->0 ... variable windshield wiper intervals.
With rain sensor, the toggle switch positions will indicate to the rain sensor its rain sensitivity, shortening or lengthening the sweep interval automatically.
---
Another Byte-Bit discarded for those who go in search of new functions.

Hi ciclo, how are you?
I need to ask only one question to the man of the rider of Suran
What do the "lighting and review" "ecocomfort" and "comfort" menus contain? Show me a photo in PM.
If you can, please answer with a personal message

Hi EdgardoRodriguez, you got the contents of the EEPROM of your IC?EdgardoRodriguez wrote: ↑Tue Feb 27, 2018 5:50 pm ...

Hi aadriver, how are you? Welcome
The original video is Portuguese (Brazil).
----------
Edit.
Well, the translations are far from correct.
I don't speak Portuguese, but I understand it because of the similarity with Spanish.
It's difficult to find a video of VW models (pq25) that are sold in Central / South America that contain all the information you want to know with the correct translations.
(Russian, English, Portuguese, Spanish ... hahaha ... I love it!)

Hi aadriver!
The options I have after enabling Version 1 "car menu source" in adaptation are exactly the same as ciclo show in the youtube video.
I am still trying to eeprom mod my IC but found that is quite different from what i saw on many tutorials. Already have a CH341a programmer, but no news till today. Anything you might need please contact me!

Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
EEPROM on the most MFA+ clusters:
Remove security clip on the bottom of the screen where the flat cable connects to the PCB
Remove all the needles (pull up)
Unclip the white plastic retention hooks at the back of the PCB
Then you'll find the EEPROM chip
Put the EEPROM clip on the chip and read with the CH341a.
If you do this, it would be interesting to have some pictures maybe?

You will need to share more information so that all of us here can help you better. The GTi headlights and the polo sedan (Malaysia made) really don’t go together well with the existing wiring and setup.don kechick wrote:Hi.. i'm having a problem with my DRL lights, just purchased POLO GTi Headlights for my POLO SEDAN (2014) but after the installation the DRL lights its not light up. please help me out.. thanks..

Hi ciclo
I bought a wiring harness from china due to different adaptor for the gti headlights, so after the installation only the bulbs are lit on except the DRL & HIGHBEAM.
What should i do to make it work, can i directly connect to the battery but i don't know which cable.
Please help. Thank you..
