Hi mate, you mentioned blowing the boot light fuse, but I can't find the actual fuse. any help please mate :cry:

Hi mate, yeah I did. The fuse is for all interior lights. I manage to get my boot light working with the LED bulb, just had to take fuse out and try it both ways.
Anyways heres a pic which fuse is for interior and boot lights....

Its a 10 amp mini fuse, hope this helps mate.

Looks good gonna order some of them bulbs soon, gonna get some staff done one the polo finally been bust with the house and wedding. with the boot one did a replacement fuse sort it then ?

All the interior lights are easy to do but its the boot light whats the dodgy one...

I put the new fuse in but boot light wouldnt come on but all my otherones were fine, so I took the fuse back out (coz I didnt want to pop that one) and turned the bulb around, then I put fuse back in then bob's ya uncle, It worked fine.

so there is a certian way they go in, will get a extra fuse aswell :) cheers mate, car looks great btw

I did mine gloss black (along with the GTI grill and lower grills/fog surrounds) - possibly the most un-noticeable change I have and ever will make on my car haha.

The gloss black does look better on the grills mate.

Il have to do mine sometime like, I got the SEL bottom grill afew months back and painted the silver trim red, so I might have to mask the trim off.
