Depends what look you're after really, I use Philips Xtreme Vision bulbs in mine. The light output is definitely brighter than standard and lights up the road loads better than before but it's a white light that is more yellow than the blue that you get from HIDs or xenon effect bulbs. What sidelights have you got in?

I have Phillips Blue Vision Ultra bulbs installed in both my headlights and sidelights, picked them up on hids4u for around 19 quid and never looked back. There's a bit more on upgraded bulbs in the 'Upgrade Bulbs' thread started by myself, you may find some of the stuff in there useful :)

They are just normal bulbs so it's just a simple replacement to install them. Very easy - takes about 5 minutes.

I put the Philips bulbs in and they didn't look any different to the OEM bulbs to me; that's with a new bulb in one side and the new one in the other!

Same from me too, they are much much brighter than the bulbs that came with the car and very white (not yellow)

I foud these not as white as I would have liked if I'm honest. They go a long way but I was hoping for a match up with my xenons it was nowhere near on the h1 bulbs
