Did you upgrade the shocks with those springs or leave it standard? Would it even make much of a difference changing the shocks?Joe9n3 wrote:
GTI is lowered by 15mm over the standard polo from factory
Wheels - Team dynamic pro race 1.2 17x7.5 with 215/40/17 yokohama parada spec 2 rubber
Ride is firm but not back breaking, round corners it instantly put a smile on my face feels alot better and should of come from the factory like this imo!!!
Defo one of the first mods that need doing.

Think the gti shocks are slightly uprated than the standard ones, wouldnt bother doing the shocks because you might aswell get coilovers!! im going to move to coilvers soon, ap coilovers or weitec look goodreezclub wrote:Did you upgrade the shocks with those springs or leave it standard? dont go for them! you wont like the bounce lol...go for something with with a shortened body which really gives a better ride and also this new upside down technology which is normal while in a straight line but makes the damper really stiff around a bend so awesome handling!
