haha! ... you already know that for me the first thing is the diagnosis.

Maybe there is a nice way to install LED bulbs for blinkers. (under test)

I think, in BCM PQ25 it's imposible to coding LED blinkers like in BCM PQ35 from VW Golf (for blinkers, taillights etc.)
but I believe in you, you are a wizard, so you will probably find a way

maybe VCP will bring a solution. you can disable some errors for lights.

i don't think VCDS can manage this, the diagnostics will not prevent hyperflashing.
i found some info on byte 18 a while ago:

Byte 18 Bit 0~7 00 Light Setup: Standard/Parameter Settings (EEPROM)
Byte 18 Bit 0-1 01 Model parking light: 5W + 5W (Ausführung Standlicht: 5W+5W)
Byte 18 Bit 3-4 00 Indicator lights: 21W/21W/5W (Ausführung Blinkleuchten: 21W/21W/5W)
Byte 18 Bit 5 Output high beam active (Ausgang Fernlicht aktiv)
Byte 18 Bit 6-7 40 Brake lights: 21W/21W/5W (Ausführung Bremsleuchten: 21W/21W/5W)\

that came from here: http://forums.ross-tech.com/showthread. ... post103129
but it doesn't allow LED for indicator or position lights without errors.

Thanks Fernando, probably 5N0 bracket might be able to be fixed easier [emoji848] I’ll have to get underneath again and have a look at possible mounting points

Good info Michel, I was looking for ages to try and find byte 18 bit descriptions

I wish there was a solution, I have installed rear LED indicators, I don’t have a bulb warning but I do get hyper flashing, it’s annoying!

Note the explanation on pg 31 (SSP 541) viewtopic.php?f=56&t=58703&start=3450#p522430 , however, for inform you, I have my TPMS unit almost in the center line and the antenna (J502) immediately locates the sensors in a correct way.

for example

Hi, I bought bcm max 7e0937090B because I want to retrofit new mib navigation unit. I have already prepared mib unit, now all functions are working outside car, cp removed, but after connecting to car there is problem with communication with gateway. Standard pq25 bcm (from 2011) doesnt support new infotainment module 5F. Fault, no communication with 5F module so I need new gateway but after checking wirring diagrams there is different wirring for new bcm, OK but I am lazy so I am findig another solution. I think that there is really needed only new wirring from bcm to instrument cluster (separate can bus) because lights are configurable by eeprom modification. VCP have implemented pq25 param editor. I dont need auto lights so for me is better change config in eeprom. I will try it on the desk with only bcm connected.

I don't know your exact car, but I'm guessing external gateway with 6R0 937 088x BCM?
I you fit a 7E0 937 090 B for its compatibility with 5F, that would make sense. But remember, this BCM has the gateway integrated.

Hi, I have (6R0937087H BCM) with internal gateway in bcm and yes I bought 7E0937090B because internal gateway have support for 5F module but I dont know at the moment If standard mib module will be working with 7E0937090B gateway because there is no car in the world with standard mib + pq25 platform only mib-pq + pq25/pq35. Standard mib (separate display + main mib unit) only in mqb platform.

Ah okay, now i have a better understanding. 6R0 937 087H bcm high to 7E0 937 090B BCM Max.
I don't know whether VCP is capable of these matters, of configuring BCM max as BCM high.

I need only reconfigure gpio port functions or reconfigure dtc masking for lights. VCP pq25 param editor is editing eeprom in cpu. 6R0 937 087H and 7E0 937 090B is still similar hw only part number in eeprom, fw version, populated pins in connector and eeprom config is difference so I think that its possible write firmware from 7E0937090B to 6R093708x. I am waiting for bcm connectors and then I will to make some research.

Thank you for your advice... but you forget the CAN bus system.

Ok, thank you very much gtsportms, I'll have to do a more detailed search to find a color temperature that matches with my xenon. 6000K maybe it's too much.
Meanwhile I will test the Osram Laser Night Breaker, although I will surely have to install one of those LED model.

Try it with the fw of a BCM 7E0..090 /B/C from Transporter T6, not all firmwares of 7E0..090 /B/C are equal.
Please keep us informed.
