Haha, yes i read you're reply before.
But I did not noticed that there is a softwareversion on the wrm.
I thought I must look for that in vcds.

Thanks

Is a Porsche the car of the previous video?

Reason, the connector is 4-pins and not 3-pins.
This connector is hard to find, but there is a perfect universal solution. 8)

I guess the "Passenger Airbag OFF" button from the top row above the radio has to make room for another button. Can't imagine a heated front window in Spain... neither front PDC... interesting.

Agreed. The pax airbag off button really don’t make sense up there. 🤣 plus there’s no backlighting.

Sure  , especially interesting for the Russian 6R Sedan who wants to install the passenger airbag deactivation system ... and for many others. I think this warning light will fit perfectly.

Btw,

Push button was a gift from a great friend. 8)
PDC control unit is the last model available, I'll show it when I do the installation. :)

So this PDC button is from Russia? With 6RU part number? Last time I plan to buy from China, but apparently the color shade of the button really not the same as original making it a bit uncomfortable for my eyes.

Yes, it's a problem from the start of 6R production on all dash buttons.
The first 6R (factory) that I saw in a VW dealer had the surface of dash buttons of different color/aspect, ...WTF thing is this?, I thought.

Well, I have the button gave me my Russian friend (Russian button), but I've bought another directly from a VW dealer here in Spain (Europe button?), I still have to receive it.
I will tell you what the differences are in regards to the originals installed on my 6R 2013 when I receive the "P)))A" button

The surface color/aspect of these buttons was corrected in 2012 (Europe), I think.

About the buttons that are sold on aliexpress or in the Chinese market I don't have any kind of reference to evaluate them in this regard.

Yes, you're absolutely right.
2015 ... hahaha
However, I have to learn not to say 'NEVER'.

This new installation is dedicated to the gift I received from Russia, much later than 2015. 8)

Do you think that automatic activation of front PDC sensors will be possible?
