There is a good tutorial to do this installation, I think CNK or iichel have the link. (My PDC unit is from factory)

However, the next ones will be the wires that you will have to install correctly.

1- +ve goes to the fuse16 in fuse box SB. It is a +15 signal.
2- -ve goes to a ground point located on the left rear of the trunk.
3- CAN lines from PDC unit must be connected to the powertrain CAN lines. This will be the hardest part in terms of wiring.
Waiting autoscan to tell you how to...

The PDC unit coding can be 108001 or 308001 depending on whether you have RVC installed. (check my guide for RVC installation, first pg of this topic)
The OPS must be activated in the radio or navigation unit. The correct Bit will be indicated for POLO 6R on one of its Bytes. A reset must be done in headunit (RCD/RNS)

Also, a lot of info here  polo Mk5

Please link to know what you bought. Thanks.

like ciclo said, get the version A with OPS and I'm sure you'll manage with the guide. Keep in mind, there is a nice tool from VW to punch a 19mm hole in the bumper so you don't need to drill.
This way you can preserve the paint a bit better

Thanks iichel. Hurm. I dont see any relation to the two functions you mentioned. The reason i asked, i think i found out that I didnt ve that pin available originally with 087 bcm and the connection is also not there (missing wire pin7 from Passenger Door Lock connector).

But i have the safelock function enabled from factory.

it could be that the function is only found in certain vehicles (T5, T6, Polo, beetle, etc) and the function of a pin sometimes depends on the coding as well.

Hi Ciclo,

I am about to install RLS and auto dimming mirror(no buttons, like graaja has installed on his Polo) on my 2015 Polo (INDIA - 1.2 TSI).

Request you to please provide help regarding connection to T73b/24. Any resource on how I could connect wires to the connector?

Regards,
Shishir

If not occupuied: insert MQS (micro quadlock system) connector
If occupied: solder wire to it at BCM, alarm sensors in roof, humidity sensor for air conditioning (in mirror housing), sliding sunroof connector. Which ever may be present.

how to reach BCM connectors and how to open them:

Introduce a soldering iron with 300-600 ºC inside a car is something that I would never do.

Crimping is a more reliable solution.
