You really need to stop abusing those dashboard side panels!!
When you make the holes in the front bumper, maybe it's an idea to use some masking tape to protect the paint a little bit against spinning things that eventually catch on the drill bit.

"which is good"... I love the way you explain the things, any interpretation is possible, ...good for your pocket?

I guess the same will be for my 6R.
I think maybe "good for my pocket" - the original plan to upgrade the parking sensors on my 2011 Audi S4 - because my wife's new Polo had OPS and, maybe to avoid me touching a wall etc with the front bumper, ie save money in repairs so "good for my pocket" - I did not want to leave out the switch as some other Audi A4 B8 had really as there was only one point in time to fit it - and that was when fitting the rest of the parts, so I never did find out how the front parking sensors behave if no switch is fitted.

Edit:- I think that the parking system in Audi A4 B8 cars is a much earlier version than the 6C Polo, so no option for auto front sensor operation - and probably the reason why a switch is provided as part of the factory fitted system. Maybe a curious fact, the easiest way, it seems, to retro fit front parking sensors to an Audi A4 B8.5 which came from the factory with rear only parking sensors, is to fit an earlier B8 system and bin the B8.5 parking controller!

I guess tomorrow or when possible I'll have to make a square hole to complete the TESTS. :)
Thanks for the advice, I'll take it into account, in any case the cutting tool leaves the area clean of possible scratches.

Ok, thanks for the explanations, I will try to find a solution for front PDC sensors automatic activation for our 6R. Taking into account that the PQ25 platform has its peculiarities.

This is a scan of the unit that I'm going to install. Currently it is being installed on the new VW T6 and Amarok.

It was a fast TEST to check the Porsche indicator light with a 9V battery.
(I didn't have time to check the light in other way, we're very busy persons  , etc... you know)

Szymon, I knew  you'd notice that the central coin is 1 Zloty. I found this coin in my wallet, here in Spain, ...therefore, I have been cleverly deceived. .

Hi Adam  , well, this square hole is improvable, although the light fits perfectly. A fine adjustment.
The important thing is that the idea is reflected in the images.

Process I did: once I took the measurements and transported them to the structure with the cut label, I used the Swiss knife (other gift from other great friend 8)) to make the outline in the back. I did this operation again and again until I got the square hole (30x10). Then, bit to bit I enlarged the hole with the Dremel tool (a very small amount), checking with the light structure at the same time.

To be a TEST it looks good. :)

Hello everyone.

I have build in folding mirrors and the motors in my 4 door polo 6r, but i have a problem.
The drivers side fold when i turn the button to folding, but the passenger side wont fold.
Also the back windows wont do anything when i push the button on the driversside.

The comfort function that wil close the mirrors is also not working annymore even when i do the windows up and push twice for the click.

What am i doing wrong or do i have the wrong motors. the pictures are my installed motors.

You have to do two things:

1 Codify them: (e.g. with VCDS)

Component: J386__TSG_FT (driver)
New Coding: 0200A3

Component: J387__TSG_BT (passenger)
New Coding: 1000A3

2 and then:

Image to everyone.

It just means that this weekend I will not be available.

i did that already but the coding you give now is different from the how to.

Is it possible that these motors are for 2 door polo.

have a nice weekend to.
