Perhaps.
Hmm, it is very interesting!...
You have mount tpms sensors into your wheels, but not sure if it "perhaps" will be.
Or it was not your wheel on the video?

...haha! 'Perhaps' because I do not know, I have not yet installed the TPMS control unit.

I still have to get some parts ... and I don't know if it will work on my/our -Benji58- 6R (ICs with 0607/0602 SW, Gateway, etcDamnABS... )

Thank you very much (sincerely).

There are many impressive 6R's in a lot of places on this planet that are inspiring for all of us ... WRC or others that were very low range from factory and they have become in exceptional 6Rs. 8)
The 6R is/has been a good starting point to modify, improve and learn for many of us.

Keep in mind that you have a Polo 6C (2015--->), it is very important. 6R (2009->2014)) and 6C (2015->) are not the same car (electric/electronic parts) even though it looks the same.

Hi Master. Good luck with ur CAN installation!!!

As we re discussing TPMS topic, for indirect TPMS system, is there an option to select/calibrate the tire size/rim from the VCDS?
I think, when I was using 17inch rim last time, the warning system is quite accurate when i had loss pressure in one of the tires. Somehow now, with 15inch rim and 185/60, it seems like the system is unable to be that accurate? I never had any warning pop up since tire change even though i think i'm low on pressure.

I don't believe there is such an option.

Not sure if this is correct thread to write/share/explain. (Request you to move it or delete in that case)
Back in india, VW have inconsistent part bin or they fit lower parts to higher variants and vice versa.
eg. Highline variant getting mid or low BCM in some cases. Plain black headlight switch for top variant and brushed metal or chrome one for lower variant.
My 2015 model (as per VIN decode) was bought in November 2014 and it has 6R0 937 087 R BCM
So it being 6C gets 6R BCM? (Please, correct me here)

As part of cost cutting there are many parts not offered. Sad part is dealers have NO IDEA about it.
There is no way to have it fitted at dealer level.
Parts are not available across the counter.
Get the car, show the VIN and then service and MAY offer to some additional services.

Absolutely no assurance that even changing an headlight switch from black to brushed metal can void the warranty.

Very few are brave to try DIY.

That is a good question. I have never had a warning light on the IC, with 17 inch. (I guess I check the pressure too often - every two weeks or trip)

The only calibrations I know are for the winter tyres (in the instrument cluster), and keep pressed the SET button on the glove compartment.

info:  http://workshop-manuals.com/volkswagen/ ... _display/

Perform basic settings
– Switch on ignition.
– Press button SET for longer than 2 seconds.

The tyre pressure monitoring warning lamp in dash panel insert lights up as long as the button is pressed.
The start of basic setting will be confirmed by an acoustic signal.

When switching on ignition again, no warning is indicated.

Well, then your Polo is a 6R, that's why the VIN and place of manufacture are important.

6R
Europe: 2009-2014
Russia/ India, etc: this is the model that is sold currently.

6C
Europe: 2015 -->
RoW: 6C GTI 2015 -->

There are even 6R GTIs in Europe with BCMs (High/mid/low) that are not Max, this has depended mainly on the installation (from factory) of bixenon headlights, buy a BlueGT and/or a Bluemotion 2014. Currently in Russia, India and other places, depends on the installation of Bixenon/LED headlights and/or automatic lights.

Here in the forum there are several users from India, and we are aware of the difficulties to obtain spare parts in VW dealers. In any case VW does not offer any warranty on electrical/electronic parts installed by you even if you buy them from VW dealers.
