i think i got confused with security code with security code for key.

Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
I changed mine as follows
801AD - 08BC30 to 08BD30
802AB - 18BC30 to 18BD30
811G - 08BC32 to 08BD32
812G - 08BC32 to 08BD32
seems like its not working. unless need to wait more than 10 minutes after locking. [emoji848]

In the govindsharma's 6R the Rain Closing function with car locked worked.
Remember:
With ignition ON set the Rain Closing function on wiper stalk (first position - auto) before removing the key from the ignition switch.
Hmm...
Let's do another test in your 6R without WRMs for folding mirrors:
- Go back to your previous coding (doing the whole process again, set the comfort function again, etc)
- Now (this is stupid, just to test) enable Byte2 Bit1 in the front WRMs. Set the comfort function in all WRMs with driver's door window switches. Do the test for Rain Closing function with car locked.

Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
Noted Sir. So i will go back to 18BC30 for 801/802 and reset. Then change to 18BC32 on both front WRM.[emoji1362] I did play with the codes just now, but other bits seems to be switching the polarity of the up/down and LHD/RHD drives. I know the model with folding wrm code similar MY to mine is 18BC34 instead of 18BC30 if thats help.
Just to confirm: the rainclosing works in ur 6R without deactivating Safelock(twice remote press) and without deactivating the InteriorMonitoring right?
Well, this must go down to the different software version of the WRMs and maybe due to the missing wire on Pin7 last time. And of course, im using 1K0 RLS which may be the issue. But i will definitely test the code. [emoji1362]

Yes. (see autoscan)benzinkopf wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2018 5:35 pm

Note: It's true that there seem to be two different ways of coding for 6R WRMs (PQ25) between very specific dates. ---> 2013-4, 2014 --->

ok tested the byte2bit1. what happen is the front windows wont move all the way by pressing. they move inch by inch. so its not working right.ciclo wrote:In the govindsharma's 6R the Rain Closing function with car locked worked.

Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
Thanks for the report.
Well, have you tried it with Byte2 Bit2 enabled?
Your WRMs belong to the old way of coding them.
Byte2 Bit1 enabled is for new way to coding comfort function of folding mirrors. 2014 --->
I thought you would think about it.
Remember, this is just for trying something new that surely will not work.

yes. i can enable byte2bit2. Tested before. everything works like normal except the rainclosing.

One last doubt:
Does your 6R do the Rain Closing function with the car unlocked?

yes. just tested with the original code again. in fact it works everytime without the needs to cycle the ignition. so long the car is unlocked. even if i unlock the car, press the remote to open the windows, not open the door, the rain closing works before the car lock again after 30seconds
Btw. Heres some result from playing the bits.
I set everything to 0 and found out:
Byte 1 Bit 2: Comfort Closing (One Touch)
Byte 1 Bit 3: Comfort Opening (One Touch)
Every other bits are unknown to me but no effect on standard functionalities.
So my new code as follows:
801/802 = 000C00
811/812 = 18BC32
Is this due to the new bcm 090 making the slave door module coding unnecessary? If not, why i got same functionalities with a different code. [emoji848]

Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
Hey Ciclo, im planing to retrofit Park Distance Control to my 6R.(Only Backside)with OPS. Im getting a Set from VAGBase.com(china). Can u tell me how to connect the PDC Control Unit and which Bits and Bytes i have to set?
Thank you
Thank you

You must post an autoscan so that I can guide you correctly. (open a new topic)
There is a good tutorial to do this installation, I think CNK or iichel have the link. (My PDC unit is from factory)
However, the next ones will be the wires that you will have to install correctly.
1- +ve goes to the fuse16 in fuse box SB. It is a +15 signal.
2- -ve goes to a ground point located on the left rear of the trunk.
3- CAN lines from PDC unit must be connected to the powertrain CAN lines. This will be the hardest part in terms of wiring.
Waiting autoscan to tell you how to...
The PDC unit coding can be 108001 or 308001 depending on whether you have RVC installed. (check my guide for RVC installation, first pg of this topic)
The OPS must be activated in the radio or navigation unit. The correct Bit will be indicated for POLO 6R on one of its Bytes. A reset must be done in headunit (RCD/RNS)
Also, a lot of info here polo Mk5
Please link to know what you bought. Thanks.
