n4s, if I knew how to extract such binary file from my ECU (Simos) you would already have it.
I think I do not have the proper diagnostic tools for this purpose. I only have VCDS and VCP.

I send you my email by private message, in case you have any suggestions regarding this. :)

I also would like to join to this question of searching the possibility of the cruise control display to be enabled with CFNA engine on mine Polo sedan
My friend owns Polo Sedan too and he said he has the bin file of his ECU. I have asked him to send it to me.
This is extract of the mine VCDS scan with additional information for ECU

firegrafik, share the bin file when possible, I will take a look and tell you if I have knowledge for that one.

I checked ECU 03F906070GA (that I found in the web), it's a Simos and the patterns inside dont look the same as for Bosch ECUs, so is not possible to have solution like for the Tiguan.

Apparenty this GA version is from Golf 1.2 TSI, so probably this one has the CCS display active. What I would recomend is, reading your ECU with Ktag and then compare versions, expecting that changes are quite few and then make similar changes to your ECU.

I was lucky to find the EDC17 documents and I could understand exaclty what each bit was doing, if SIMOS documentation is available it can be very helpfull.

Regarding Firegrafik car, is ECU is magneti marelli, and don't know if CCS High was implemented for this one. It's a much smaller file, when compared to the others. Do you know if other cars use this and have CCS display?

Thanks n4s.

I will try to find a specialized workshop that has this tool and read the binary file from my ECU Simos. I'm afraid this tool will be too expensive for this single modification (if possible to find the correct Bytes).

Note: I'm not saying that the tool is expensive for those who like or are dedicated to this world of engine tuning.

A brief parentheses on my second vacation.

An small gift to iichel and info to all (Remember, POLO 6R Europe 2009-2014, PQ25)

Due to his new and great project. I suppose he will keep us informed.

I hope the masters of the universe are with you, Michel. :)

These are the only buttons with cruise control that fit in 6R/6C Sport Steering Wheel (new model), the T6 does not have this model of steering wheel from factory, but I would also recommend testing the buttons from the T6... perhaps the integrated circuits can be interchanged. :?:

WD
100%, only for mfsw with CCS or ACC buttons. (Euro6 emissions)

This diagram (above) is the one I did when I installed these buttons on my steering wheel.

Once that I discovered in the BCM the Bytes that make them work ...

- Byte29 Bit6 for the right side (MFA and phone, etc)
- Byte17 Bit2 for the left side (CCS)... the buttons are recognized in the engine unit (0/I, Set, Resume, Cancel, +, -) according to the values measurement (vcds).

... the following faults are obtained in the engine unit due to the ABS unit according to ODIS and possibly to other incompatibilities (unknown to me).

Engines Polo 6R = Euro5 or Euro5 plus. ABS unit = TP 1.6

New stalks without CCS buttons are required (see first image).

I'll send them to you on Monday, Michel.

Awesome ciclo. Thank you very much.

I've managed to 95% crack the code of ESC (ABS + ESP + TSC unit for Transporter T6, Caddy 2016).
I've ordered this part for testing: http://www.ebay.de/itm/VW-Caddy-4-2K-VW ... 2749.l2649
It is found in i.e. Transporter T6 with MFS+CC

I've also managed to 95% crack the code of MK60EC1 (ABS + ESP + TSC unit for PQ35 and PQ25 Jetta, Beetle).
It is found in i.e. Jetta 2016 with 6C0 MFS+CC
The magic number is 6C0959442C with 1K0 907 379 xx
--> http://www.oemepc.com/vw/part_single/ca ... d/0/lang/e
--> http://forums.ross-tech.com/showthread. ... -auto-scan (PQ35!)

If you are interested in the code, I can happily send it to you guys by email (might be interesting for our Russian friends too).
I'm slightly struggling for some bytes, somewhere in 2014 it went from 18 bytes long coding to 19 bytes long coding to 20 bytes long coding.
The latest 1K0 907 397 BS supports many interesting functions such as ACC, PLA, 2-stage ESC/ASR disable, CC by MFS

Adam, that looks like a button for Adaptive Cruise Control (button between + and -). Or am I mistaken?

Yes iichel that is correct, would it be possible to make it function without adaptive function at least? Or worst case if I swapped buttons for now to the ones without ACC button, would it then work with my ECU & ABS modules?

I honestly don't know. From what I've heard, ACC will work only in ACC mode, not in regular CC mode.
For me, it's all new and there is not a lot of knowledge on retrofitting this, unfortunately.

Lets make a separate entry: viewtopic.php?f=56&t=70203

Hehe well I think we both have the same problem, too many old things from old mods/upgrades that we don't use anymore
I don't think any of your cool TPMS BCMs will work with my LED headlights, but if you have some good spanish wine laying around
