Do you have the physical reset button working with the indirect system? I think I asked this a couple of years back and at least then you didn't have it :)

I would potentially be interested in trying the indirect system (I don't feel like adding pressure sensors and receiver for the direct system) but then I would need a working reset button so I don't need VCDS to reset it.

My indirect TPM system is from factory, with SET button included (glovebox). Currently works perfectly.

In the 6R WRC isn't possible to install indirect TPM system, it will not work with the original software of your ABS system.

Oh, my bad then.

Yeah, when I asked you back then I remember at least you were unsure on whether I can retrofit it. But now you made it clear, so now I don't have to to think about it any more :D

Strange though that the ABS software for the WRC doesn't support it, when it is supported by other 6R... does the WRC have a different ABS module perhaps?

The WRC has the same module (hardware) but with a different software. It's probably to accommodate the 2.0 tsi engine.

Hello Ciclo,

First of all I would like to thank you, I've been reading your posts more than 6 months, and you were a wonderful guide for me. And I also would like to ask you a question about your steering wheel. I found out in this topic that your mfsw buttons has the part number of 1K8959422, I bought a R-Line steering wheel, and their part number for button is 5G0959442L is that a problem ? Can I use it without any big trouble ? The only difference between I was able to find online is LED colours (which is okay for me).

Thank you,
Eren

Unless you have a compatible bcm, the lighting will not work at all in your 6r. Otherwise it will work fine for mfa(+) and radio control.i

Unfortunately, I don’t have either of mfa+ or <2015BCM. . I guess I need to return the item even though it was a bargain.

I also have another question, I found "1K8959422" on ebay can I retrofit in to my steering wheel ? I am asking because my steering wheel has also DSG paddles.

Hallo erengumus, welcome. Thanks for your comments.

Apart from what iichel mentioned ... (important)

The 5G0 buttons (white color) will work, but the Gateway / BCM (PQ25) does not speak the same language as the 5G0 (MQB) buttons, so a small conflict is generated, which is reflected in the diagnosis/reading/scan. This is neither good nor bad, it is a small lack of understanding between the units. The 5G0 buttons will work.

On the other hand, a BCM change is very easy (fortunately), for an affordable price (contact firegrafick) you can get a more up-to-date BCM model to make works the buttons backlight.

Thank you for your answer ciclo and iichel. My main aim is from right now to get MFA+ and BCM Max, in order to get fully functioning features.

OMGAAAAH! I just saw a VW POLO 6R 1.2 TSI (CBZ) with Gra_High activated and working perfectly. Absolutely true.

Note: I don't know how it's done, nor the applied magic.

Maybe my 6R becomes a steed.

First read here  https://www.drive2.ru/l/520403252546633883/

I'll try to activate it in my 6R - for test and verification - but I'm in the same situation as Slavik (MaDwArLoCk), I have promised not to show / reveal any information about it.
Please, I hope everyone understands. Thank you.

Image

It will take me some time to do it, because I have to buy back the software for Kess V2 (Ksuite v2.47) ... some time ago I was very angry with the tests I did that I threw all the programming software in the trash ...

Apart,
I finally opened a new thread with my wife's Golf MK7.5, in case anyone could be interested, HERE

The most likely answer to your question is 'the money'.
I assure you that this achievement has required a lot of effort and time (and will to achieve it) from several people.

Awesome!
