Do it exactly the same. I think it's the best video ever posted online :lol: about the Heated Seat Elements installation/retrofit on a VW. (IMHO, ...my opinion is irrelevant :lol:)

Removing and intalling the covers is absolutely simple with the hook tool (cheap tool), shown in the third image of the video. It's not necessary to pull hard to extract the cover tension wires with this tool. Very, very easy

Advice: Place the Heated Seat Element resistance/wire over the cover horizontal tension wire, never below them (logically). It's very easy to understand when you are in the installation process.

I recommend you ELSAWIN process.

Apart:
The wires belonging to the heated seat elements (HSE) were modified during the installation process, because they belong to the Skoda Rapid/Seat Toledo (cheaper than those from 6R and equally effective).

Pay special attention to the second image of the video (GO :lol:) to compare them if you buy this HSE model.

I have to change the battery console due to a manufacturing defect.
In my case, the threaded insert in the plastic of original battery console (which holds the lower housing of the air filter) wasn't properly tightened to the plastic, making impossible to loosen the screw by conventional methods. :lol:

The original battery console reference number was replaced by the following one:

I also will put a new cover for the battery, the one that I used when I upgraded to the :arrow: new bigger battery is not exactly the one that corresponds to it.
