Should be cut and crimp. Inline splicing also carries risks

It's impressive how large and extensive is the world of Crimp, the small details make the difference.

crimping is the process of attaching an electrical wire (or wires) to a connector.
the connector is often referred to as a terminal.
it's one of the ways of joining two wires to one another and is very safe and steady.
I think it's fair to say it's by far ciclo's favourite and with good reason.

You should fit front parking sensors with auto engage (like Golf 7). :D

Golf MK7 ... Byte3 Bit4 activated in 10 address.

Hahaha ... I would hear the beeping just before I crashing with other car/thing. The 6R don't have "Front Assist"

I have in my Golf 7 GTD and is useful, is activating automatically below a certain speed (I don't know exactly the value). In the winter is a little annoying if is snow on the parking sensors because is beeping all the time. It can be deactivated in the menu.
In the Amarok I'm forgetting that the front sensors must be activated from the button. :D

I don't know if this automatic function for front PDC sensors can be activated on the PQ25 platform units. Maybe..., there are some indefined Bits to explore.
(if possible it will depend on the PDC unit date, software, etc..., I guess)

At the moment I don't need the front PDC sensors  , nor do I intend to install them, so I can't do researches about it.

@ciclo: I already have autofoldable mirrors installed (3 door only with manual switch) and would like to add the automatic folding with remote control key feature. Is it possible to add parametrization with VCP to WRM to add this feature or do I need to exchange WRM to a newer version? Can I use my 087 High+ BCM for this (VCP with PQ25 BCM Editor) or do I need to swap for a 089/090 Max+ BCM? Thank you very much in advance!

Well, by the fact that your WRMs belong to the VW Jetta (AW0) or Amarok, and I can see in some online images that these have all the pins in the plugs, let's try with the following coding for both WRMs for the automatic function with remote:

Subsystem 2 - Teilenummer SW: 6R0 959 801 M HW: 6R0 959 801 M Labeldatei: 6R0-959-801.CLB
Bauteil: J386__TSG_FT 002 3130
Seriennummer: --------------------
Codierung: New coding: 0200A3

Subsystem 3 - Teilenummer SW: 6R0 959 802 P HW: 6R0 959 802 P Labeldatei: 6R0-959-802.CLB
Bauteil: J387__TSG_BT 002 3130
Seriennummer: --------------------
Codierung: New coding: 1000A3

Copy and paste in New coding area of each module.

Remember that you previously must also have activated the comfort function in the BCM.
Remember that you must reset the comfort function in both windows with the window switches on the driver's door.
Remember it's just a test.

Good luck and please tell us the result, any change that happens is important. Thanks!

-------------------
It is not necessary to change the BCM.
I do not know if  this is possible with the WRMs PQ25, I'm afraid not.
In case the previous codings don't work with your WRMs, you should find some WRMs with a SW whose first number is 8.

Example:
Subsystem 2 - Part No SW: 6R0 959 801 BD HW: 6R0 959 801 BD Labels: 6R0-959-801.CLB
Component: J386__TSG_FT 003 8612
Serial number: KU0KU003041440937042
Coding: 0200A3

Subsystem 3 - Part No SW: 6R0 959 802 BF HW: 6R0 959 802 BF Labels: 6R0-959-802.CLB
Component: J387__TSG_BT 003 8612
Serial number: KU0KU006031440656541
Coding: 1000A3
