Yesterday I changed my original stalks of steering column.

From 6R0953507C to 6R0953507B

Why?
Long time ago I had installed the multifunction buttons on steering wheel.
The problem is that the buttons for DIS (SW and right stalk) in both places at the same time provides electronic errors occasionally.
"The right side buttons of the steering wheel stops working when you push the buttons on the stalk"

The only way to solve this problem is to change the stalks.

Done the change, everything works perfectly !!! Tested.

In this way it is just like the steering wheel and stalks Polo 6R BlueGT, GTI or WRC. Now all work like a charm in my R-line. Image

Hello @ciclo, I saw that you changed your Instrument cluster MFA.
How do I know what instrument cluster will fit into my Polo? I have a 1.4 gasoline engine, I bought my 6R in July 2011.

I found two product numbers with speedometer scale up to 240 kph:
- 6R0920870c
- 6R0920871

6R0920871 Bifuel model

If you look closely in the picture below you will see that the two scales of small spheres measure amount of fuel. In this case it is for petrol and gas because this instrument cluster is to bifuel. So it is not right for your petrol 1.4.

6R0920870 C , E. BlueGT model

This instrument cluster is right for your 1.4.

6R0920870 A,B,D 280 km/h GTI model

6R0920870 F 280 km/h WRC model

:)

BlueGT customized with blue needles

... this latter info is for Peter ... :P

Of course I can help you, but I wonder if you can specify exactly what you are doing.
What are you doing and what is your installation guide?
You have the Polo 6C, not 6R, is it right?

Tengo un problema con la modification Taillights Polo 6C. OEM.
Cuando pongo la W16W, se illumina 2 secundos y despues se apaga ... solo la W5W functiona normalmente :(

Switeo13009, you have a high consumption in your parking lights (electrical lines) of your "retrofitted xenon headlamps".

The front parking light on one side is electrically coupled to the rear parking light on the same side, and you have a high consumption in the two sides.
Try using LEDs bulbs (low consumption <5w, high lighting) on the parking tail lights, there is no other solution for this specific problem that you have.
