So yeah, looking into some new tires after noticing current ones are starting to go.

Any recommendations?

Which model/engine size is yours? What kind of miles do you do? How much do you want to spend? How long have the current ones lasted? What kind of driving do you do?

If you don't mind paying top dollar, go for something along the line of Continentals

Tires.

I have a 1.2TSI, i generally do around 10k a year which is split into 20 mile journey to work and 20 mile back. Then standard weekend driving.
The tyres i got on mine, not sure how old they are as i got the car second hand from VW.
Got the car in May and within 2 months, they say one tyre is slowly wearing down.

I have a costco bear work who do continentals for around £50 per wheel..
Any particular continentals?

Contis normally good, would avoid Dunlops as they are noisy

Also needing some new 215/40R17 tyres! :) What tyres would everyone recommend? I've had Dunlop SP Sport Maxx and Hankook Evos in the past and never had any issues. I need a set of 4 and don't want to burst the bank either!
