For performance you can start with a remap. And handling some coils...

Eduard wrote: Mon Sep 04, 2017 3:29 pm Nice car buddy!

I would also like to change that rear bumper to the exact one you have but I never got around to look for a correct PN. Would you mind helping me out on what's needed ( if anything ) aside the bumper itself for installationn, and the actual part number ?

Thank you very much!
Thanks!

I have no idea, sorry. this is the original bumper, never took it of to see the part number. It's the same as the 6R GTI btw.

Why not? Nothing to lose and it only costed me 20€. With the right protection it will last me long years.
As for the looks, I like it a lot, maybe not everyone, but the car is mine, so...... :P

yeah fair enough, but i hope you can manage to keep it nice. the exterior of a car is not a nice place to live.
water, sait, stones, lots of wind, dirt, tar, sand, everything flying at you at up to 130km/h :P

There are convertibles out there with almost the same material, and they survive :P

They already have 2200+kms on them, and they just arrived yesterday from a 1700km trip (Portugal -> Switzerland) with snow, sun and everything in between. :P

The covers I already had a spare, it was the leather that costed me 20€ back in Portugal. (Best place for upholstery and stuff :D)

nice. you can also add a few to the vertical (now horizontal) cover for excellent lighting of the boot.

I just noticed that I have deactivated the errors from the tail lights, because I just removed the lamps and no error was shown on the car... 😂

Does anyone know how to activate them on vcds? I've found something to inactivate them, but the bits aren't checked... So, I don't know why there's no error... 🤔🤔

BTW... Has anybody found any indicator lights with the resistor incorporated to them?
